How to send a receipt and record what you were paid

Short answer

When you create a new receipt, the first thing the CRM asks is how much you were paid. Then you send it by email or by WhatsApp, Telegram or chat, after checking who will receive it. The message adjusts by itself: unpaid, deposit received (with what is left), or thank you for your payment.

Step by step

  1. Step 1: Create the receipt

In your CRM, create a new receipt for the customer.

  2. Step 2: Write how much you were paid

At the top you see the question about how much you were paid. Write the amount (it also accepts a deposit or a percentage), or leave it empty if you haven’t been paid yet.

  3. Step 3: Choose how to send it

Open the receipt and choose email or WhatsApp, Telegram or chat.

  4. Step 4: Check who will receive it

The customer’s first email or number is already filled in. You can remove it, change it or add more, up to 3.

  5. Step 5: Confirm

The CRM asks you before sending. The receipt goes out with the right message for what was paid.

Good to know

  • Unpaid: the message says you are waiting for the payment.
  • Deposit: it says the deposit was received and how much is left.
  • Paid: it thanks the customer for the payment, with the amount. It never says “thank you” for a payment of 0.

The customer paid in parts. What do I do?

Make a receipt for each payment. When it is a deposit, the message tells the customer what was received and what is left.
